STEP 1

Lay Out the Frame Components

Choose a clean, flat surface and carefully place all frame parts inposition:

  • Set the top rail and bottom rail parallel to each other.
  • Position the two side rails vertically, one on each side, so they align with the ends of the top and bottom rails.

STEP 2

Connect the Frame Sections

Each rail has a numbered label to guide assembly. Match the numbers on connecting ends (e.g., 1 to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3, 4 to 4) and join the rails together until all four sides form a complete frame.

STEP 3

Secure the Connections

Using a screwdriver, insert and tighten the screws at the four connection points (next to numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4). This locks the frame in place and ensures stability during operation.

Adjust Fabric Tension

Stand the frame upright. At the marked adjustment points, turn the screws clockwise 2-3 times to tighten the fabric. Rotate the frame and repeat on the other side so the shade moves smoothly.

STEP 5

Apply the Adhesive Seal

  • Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive tape.
  • Run the tape along the full perimeter of the frame, pressing firmly to ensure adhesion.
  • At each corner, leave a slight overlap for a continuous seal.

STEP 6

Install into the Window Recess

  • Carefully lift the assembled shade and place it into your window recess.
  • Press the frame evenly into place, ensuring the adhesive fully contacts the window surface.
  • Check that the shade operates smoothly in all directions.
